Stretching

 

Stretching extends the body to achieve a healthy range of flexibility. The goal is to allow movement with a greater extent of motion through increasing joint mobility and stability. It can help muscles to lengthen, which will make it easier to exercise and perform other daily activities. Stretching reduces muscle tension, enhances muscular coordination, and delays the onset of muscle fatigue. Also, it’s used to prevent injuries of the hamstring, quadriceps, calf, etc. Now after a good warm-up and quality stretch, it’s time to GetRight!!

Aerobic Exercise

 

Health experts advise that children get a total of at least 1 hour of aerobic exercise a day. In addition, itshould be preceded by a warm-up and followed by a cool-down. For the purpose of PE With JiggAerobics, aerobic exercise is any activity that increases

breathing and heart rate. Under ideal circumstances, a child should aim for at least 30 minutes of aerobic activity during the school day.

HIIT Session

 

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), a brief, quick-paced form of exercise, has been found to help school children perform better on tasks involving the working memory and cognitive control. More specifically, our PE With JiggAerobics HIIT Sessions require all-out, 100% percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps a child’s heart rate up and burns more calories in less time.

Cool Down

 

The purpose of a cool down is to slow the body’s level of physical activity gradually, from high intensity to low intensity, following the aerobic exercise. It also helps the heart rate and breathing return to normal, prepares muscles for the next activity, and helps prevent muscle cramps or spasms. In addition, a cool down will provide time for the entire class to calm down, settle back into their seats and get prepared to learn.
